How we began...
I have been working within the Airline Industry for well over 20 years now and it has taken me to many wonderful places around the world. I have had the privilege to experience many different cultures and lifestyles. I have also seen some amazing creative ideas along the way in various cities around the world. This is one of them!
My friends and I were catching up in a trendy pub in London last year, and as we were sitting there chatting on a balmy summers evening, a girl leaned over the bar in front of us and asked for a bottle of white wine. The barman handed over the wine but it was in a clear plastic bag with handles, filled with ice and water... we all turned around, looked at each other as she swooped it off the bar and carried it to her seat opposite. Instead of an ice-bucket, she was carrying her wine in a portable, clear wine type bag! She then placed the 'bag' in front of her across the bar, it stood up by itself. You could clearly see the bottle of wine that she was drinking, it was sitting in icy cool water and it just looked fabulous! How easy to move the wine around, yet keeping it chilled at the same time! My friend and I looked at each other..."we have to get one of those!" The uses are endless, instead of a heavy ice-bucket, you have this very trendy, portable wine-cooler. It even has a pocket for your personal business card, message or company logo, and you can even order them with your own personal logo printed on the side. Imagine picnics, on the boat, the races, corporate events, gifts, even at a restaurant, sharing an alfresco lunch with friends. The uses are endless.
As soon as I showed my friends at work, that was it, everyone wanted one! (And my friends are well traveled so they know a 'must have' when they see one)! So my months of research began, to find a factory that could produce this product to the highest quality yet making it affordable to everyone. In the end it was down to customer service. I know all about that from my work so it was easy to communicate with someone who was keen for my business and understood the little details that I wanted, before they manufactured my product. We now have an excellent working relationship and an amazing, high quality, innovative product.
